Market price of blended yarn sees a momentary stability

During the first statutory holiday of Dragon Boat Festival, which fell from June 7 to 9, this year, the PTA, MEG prices were adjusted, semi-dull and bright polyester chip prices moved sideways, CDP chip prices went upward, PET bottle slice price trimmed.
Acrylic staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102 mm prices were in consolidation; Prices of CPL, nylon 6 slices were stable.
Due to holiday mood, trade volume of polyester filament was moderate, but prices gained 100-200 Yuan. Overall, current market fundamentals continued to keep rising; future market trend of polyester filament is expected to witness a modest rise, because of cost pressures from upstream raw materials.
Overall performance of cotton yarn looked fair, prices were stabilized. Prices of blended yarn products, polyester / viscose yarn products were temporarily stable or displayed a very little change.
Pure polyester yarn made an improvement recently; prices of individual items depicted an increase; market focus of PSF price was at 11,400 Yuan per ton, up 50 Yuan per ton.
Individual products of rayon yarn lines declined. VSF market price fell to about 15,700 Yuan per ton. Outlook of rayon yarn market is expected to maintain a downward trend.
