Sympatex becomes a bluesign partner for membrane systems

bluesign technologies ag is proud to announce that Sympatex Technologies GmbH has becomes a bluesign system partner. As such, Sympatex Technologies is getting the highly valued bluesign certification for its membrane.
The label “bluesign approved” stands for compliance with the highest international environment, health and safety (EHS) requirements and reflects Sympatex's efforts to foster a healthy, proactive textile industry that's concerned with reducing its overall environmental impact.
“The idea of the bluesign standard is not to analyze the final products for harmful substances, but rather to provide manufacturers with pre-approved components that lead to products which are harmless to people and the environment, provided they are applied properly”, says Detlef Fischer, VP of bluesign technologies ag. “The addition of Sympatex Technologies' membrane is a substantial contribution to our already wide range of “bluesign approved” products that subscribed textile manufacturers can access via the bluefinder.”
“Our ultimate ambition is the combination of highest performance of our products with best possible environmental sustainability” explains Thomas Baierlein, CEO of Sympatex Technologies GmbH in Unterföhring, Germany.
