The largest Brazilian manufacturers of home textiles, producing 20,000 tons per month of bed / bath/ table articles, Teka - Tecelagem Kuenhrich, has 4 units located in the States of Santa Catarina and São Paulo, employing more than 5,000 persons.
Holding the Öko-Tex Standard 100, German International Ecological Certificate, all lines launched at Texfair were entirely produced within environment protection laws.
Teka offers a large gamut of bed sets, eiderdowns, bed covers in 100% cotton percale of 200 and 300 thread count in single, double, queen and King sizes, in plain colours or printed with up dated motifs.
The company's concern with sustainability was illustrated at the fair by lines of bed sets and bath towels woven in a cotton bamboo blend. The bed sets favoured 250 thread count percale and the bath towels had 440g per sq. meter. Both types of articles have a soft touch and a fresh feeling obtained by the addition of proteins and vitamin B to the materials.
