Man-made yarn market faces a rough phase

In Qianqing market, rayon yarn market trend also showed weakness. The decline of each week was over 500 yuan per ton. As of May 25, rayon yarn 30s fell to 19,000 yuan per ton.
From China's yarn price index, May market price index of rayon yarn 30s also shrank from 23,600 yuan per ton to 21,250 yuan per ton, depicting a cumulative decline of 2,350 yuan per ton. But market turnover did not increase much, mainly due to the decline from upstream raw materials and gloomy market operation from downstream sector.
VSF market quotation plunged from 18,400 yuan per ton, at the beginning of the month, to 16,500 yuan per ton by the end of the month, down 1,900 yuan per ton. Overall market sentiment remained slack.
