China Sourcing Fair witnesses immense participation

The second China Sourcing Fair was organized in Dubai World Trade Center from June 9 to 11, where more than 7,000 importers, retailers, wholesalers and distributors had gathered.
Manufacturers from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan showcased their wide range of products including home décor and fashion accessories. This expo provided opportunity to entrepreneurs from the Middle East regions to source the products directly from competitive suppliers.
Representatives from global companies like Max department stores, Shoe Mart and Home Centre had visited the fair for making profitable business deals with the participating enterprises.
This year the exhibition grew around 60 percent in comparison to 2007. UAE is emerging as one of the fastest growing market in the entire world and everyone wants to benefit from the present situation.
Experts suggest that, this expo can play a vital role in strengthening business relationships by introducing domestic buyers to Chinese manufacturers, which in turn will further improve bilateral trade.
The trade between China and UAE grew by 40 percent last year, and touched US $20 billion.
