In Moscow, the biggest town in Europe, live more than 10 million inhabitants, and with the surrounding area there are even almost 15 million – more than London, Paris and Berlin together.
These are 15 million consumers having a huge back-log, and ready for buying national and international quality goods. Russia is belonging to the “BRIC - group of four” (Brazil, Russia, India, China), the 4 countries representing 50 percent of the growth of the world economy within the next years.
Companies not assuring the place in the four BRICs, are losing contact and access to the world's most dynamic market places.
Under these perspectives, the future of the sector of the Russian wool and textile industry have been discussed during the IWTO Country Summit Russia in Moscow, held on 7th - 8th September at Crocus Expo Centre. International speakers and delegates present from over 20 countries have exchanged views and discussed business possibilities with their counter partners from Russia, as well as from other CIS Countries such as Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The IWTO Country Summit Russia was held parallel to the fabric exhibition INTERSTOFF Rossija.
