This Monday, June 23, PTA, MEG prices were adjusted, prices of semi-dull and bright polyester chips slightly lowered, CDP chip price was still under suppression; PET bottle slice price corrected.
Prices of acrylic staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm were stable; CPL, nylon 6 chip prices adjusted.
Polyester filament market acquired a strong wait-and-see sentiment; market trend of filament varieties appeared more fragmented; actual transactions showed sign of modest concession. Offers from several factories in Shengze and Taicang areas maintained stablility, but individual manufacturers cut their price by 100 yuan per ton. Recently, local market is expected to hold much probability of vulnerable adjustment amid steadiness.
Overall yarn market was relatively steady with little change, except rayon yarn products. Among blended yarn products, price of polyester and viscose remained stable. VSF price stabilized at15,450 yuan per tons. Pure polyester yarn market was firm. Currently market demand of polyester yarn 45s was better than products in other specifications; the latest market price focused at 15,800 yuan per ton. The latest PSF market price was at 12,050 yuan per ton.
Outlook of pure polyester yarn market is expected to maintain the trend of consolidation.
