Clariant Chemicals receives Two DMAI awards

Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited is committed for ESH under signed document titled, “The Corporate Principles for Environment, Safety & Health”. Based on these cardinal principles, Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited has established efficient and effective ESH Management System complying with all statutory and corporate requirements with necessary financial support at all times. Efficiency and effectiveness of these measures is periodically reviewed by the Management and regular audits for improvement.

In recognition of the above measures developed by Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited, DMAI is pleased to confer the award for Safety & Hazards Control for the year 2007-2008.

The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India, popularly known as DMAI was set up in 1950 to promote and protect trade, commerce and industries connected with dyestuffs and to encourage and assist those engaged in the manufacture of dyestuffs in India.

Their objective has been to present representations to various Ministries & Governmental agencies; boost the exports of the country, highlight causes to Municipal Authorities, encourage deserving students, increase our own technical competence, etc. The Association, in order to promote the exports of the Small Scale Companies initiated a consortium approach in many emerging markets.
