Imitated silk varieties gain popularity

It has been noted that in the midst of tough trade conditions, four varieties of imitated silk fabrics have gained rapid popularity.

The summer cloth known as 'Dobby (GGT)' is selling very well in the market. This imitated variety is soft and light, with a width of 150 cm and weight of 100 gram per meter. This washable material is suitable for manufacturing clothes, especially women's garments like skirts. Wholesale price range stands between 4.80 to 5.20 yuan per meter.

Second kind is the 'Chiffon', which is soft, smooth and airy and is easily washable. This material, mostly available in pastels and lighter hues, is 150 cm in width and 130 gram in weight per meter. Wholesales price of its grey cloth ranges from 3.20 to 50 yuan per meter.

Next is the chemical fibre fabric called 'Aolisha' which is soft and wrinkle-free material. This versatile fabric is suitable to make fashionable dresses, leisure clothes and suits, and is available in wide range of colors. Its width is 150 cm, the weight is 270 gram per meter, and wholesales price is about 4.45-4.55 yuan per meter.

Finally, the fourth variety that is luring big groups of consumers is the 'Pearl Hemp', which appears very stiff and smooth. It's width is 150 cm, the weight is about 130 gram per meter. Wholesales price ranges between 3.2-3.5 yuan per meter. It is very suitable to make the fashionable dresses, the suits and the skirts.
