Exports to Japan and Netherlands bring high revenue

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), textile and garment export to Japan and Netherlands have maintained its rising trend in the first five months of 2008.
In May this year, Vietnam earned foreign currency worth nearly US $55.046 million, by exporting textile and apparels to Japan. This showcases an increase of 5 percent when compared to March and hike of 16 percent when compared to April 2007.
Similarly, nation fetched revenue worth $13.24 million in May and $56.30 million between January to May by exporting textile and garment products to Netherlands.
