Bombay Rayon continues its profit growth

Bombay Rayon Fashions Ltd. (BRFL), manufacturers of woven, dyed and printed fabrics for apparel and furnishings, has declared its audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2008.

The company's total Sales / Income rose from Rs 4967.5 million to Rs. 11089.1 million in years 2007 - 08. Its net profit in 2006 – 07 was Rs. 539.6 million which increased in 2007 – 08 to Rs. 1227.4 million.
The board has recommended a dividend payment of Rs. 1.50 per equity share of Rs. 10/- each, subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company.
