Sintex textile segment sales up by Rs 829 mn

Sintex Industries Ltd has informed regarding a Press Release dated July 10, 2008, titled "Sintex Industries Limited: Q1 FY2009 Results Communication; Q1 FY2009 Net Sales up by 108% to Rs 7.15 billion, EBITDA stands at Rs 1.17 billion, up by 65%; Net profit improves 71% to Rs 565 million, EPS for the period : Rs 4.17."
Revenues in the textile segment increased by Rs 829 million. Operating profits stood at Rs 121 million translating to PBIT margins of 15%
Both 'Collection' and 'Fabric for Readymade garments' businesses enjoyed healthy demand.
With the completion of facility expansion programme to 24 million meters, the Company is poised to enhance its offerings in this space.
