One Cebu expo witnesses huge participation

The Province of Cebu along with other business groups has launched an exhibition called One Cebu, from August 8 that will continue to draw crowd till 15, at the Cebu International Convention Center.

The fair is showcasing immense variety of products that are being made by local manufacturers. More than 120 booths are displaying stunning range of items that includes handicraft made from bamboo, cane and other eco friendly materials. Along with home furnishing, readymade garments, fashionable accessories and furniture that is generating lot of interest among onlookers.

The domestic enterprises and artisans are extremely happy with the response they are receiving from the visitors who are appreciating the craftsmanship, that is reflected in the work of art.

Its not only the small enterprises that are present at the venue, but famous companies are also displaying their items, so as to target domestic customers, as the demand of products in international market is low.

Pan Arts, a renowned accessory brand in Philippines is also actively showcasing its stylish range of fashionable items for young and trendy girls. The wide range of products include earrings, necklaces and bracelets that are created using rhinestones, wood, sea shells and glass.

This weeklong exhibition is organized to celebrate 439th founding day anniversary of the Capital City. This fair is only a prelude to a much bigger and better International trade fair which Cebu will host in 2009.
