CIFIT 2008 aims to boost trade relations with Taiwan

The 12th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) is currently in progress at Amoy (Xiamen), industrial port of Fujian Province, China.
CIFIT began on 8 September and is scheduled to end tomorrow.
Number of overseas enterprises and organizations taking part in this fair has grown this year as against 2007. Statistics show that companies and firms from over 204 countries have contributed to this year's event.
While, last year there were only 1500 booths, this year there are more that 2500 stalls.
Insiders inform, so far, 9,846 overseas clients from 124 countries and areas, and 445 international organizations have visited till now. Around 360 investors from abroad, 380 Chinese enterprises have shown interest in investing in other countries and investment promotion institutes.
This year the Fair has organized new segment, namely, 'Taiwan's investment project', so as to promote cooperation with Taiwan in 10 big industries, including the textiles.
