Construction commences at Qazvin industrial unit

Qazvin is one of the 30 provinces of Iran and in last few years has witnessed rapid industrial growth. Recently, construction process of various units began here, which will also include polyester fabric plant. Many Government and Provincial officers were present at the inauguration ceremony to grace the occasion.
The new units will come up with an investment of nearly 1.6 billion rials and is expected to generate employment opportunities for almost 1,000 people living in Qazvin and Takestan regions. Experts believe that, once the industrial plant starts functioning, it will boost the economy of the region.
Some of the officials that were present at the inaugural function included Morteza Tamaddon, Presidential Economic Advisor, Ahmad Nasiri, Qazvin Governor-General, Mohammad Aqa Alikhani, Chairman of Qazvin Industries and Mines Organization.
The Government is also planning to launch nearly 38 projects that would also include textile and chemical industries within short span of time, for further developing the economy of the province.
