NHHCF initiates handicraft expo to empower women folk

The National Home Health Care Foundation (NHHCF) has organized a four day exhibition that starts from today. To be hosted under the patronage of Princess Sarah Al-Anqari at the Heddah Hilton Hotel, the expo aims at promoting a range of handicraft and other art works produced by Saudi women.
The fair which entered its ninth edition is a part of the annual fund-raising activity of the NHHCF. Over, 100 national and international companies have participated in the exhibition and the products put up for display includes artwork, gift items and jewelry through an oriental market called 'Bussat Al-Reeh'
Addressing a press conference on September 13, Princess Adela Bint Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud, Chairwoman for the western province branch of the foundation stated that Saudi businesswomen have evinced keen interest in developing their innate skills. She further added saying, “The Foundation has succeeded in achieving many of its goals aimed at providing assistance to needy people.”
The Chairwoman also stressed on the fact that the main objective of NHHCF is to upgrade the social and health consciousness of the society at large while the fair would act as a platform for women empowerment in the kingdom.
