FiberMark receives award from Smead Manufacturing

FiberMark, a leading producer of specialty covering materials for a variety of applications including office products, publishing and luxury packaging, announced that it has received an award from Smead.

Manufacturing Company in recognition of its 50 years of service as a supplier. The award was presented during Smead's annual fundraiser for City of Hope, a cancer research and treatment center, held on August 11, 2008.

Smead is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and distribution of filing and organizational products, with more than 2,400 employees across North America and Europe.

FiberMark supplies Smead with a range of high-quality heavyweight pressboard products and lightweight presentation cover stocks.

FiberMark was presented with the award by Smead President and CEO Sharon Hoffman Avent. Accepting the award on behalf of FiberMark was Les Eustace, vice president of sales.

“This award is a testament not only to FiberMark's longevity as a supplier, but to the company's excellence in product and service quality,” said Sharon Hoffman Avent.

“In half a century of working with us, FiberMark has consistently met or exceeded our expectations, which in turn has benefited our customers.”
