Govt support helps trousers industry to reach new heights

Haicheng city, Liaoning province, has emerged as the biggest trouser production base in Northeast of China, with an annual output of 120 million pairs of trousers.
The city houses over 500 trousers factories as well as about 1000 related enterprises and in all employs more than 300,000 workers.
Insiders believe that support of the local Government has played an important role in the success of trousers industry in Haicheng.
Reportedly, if a brand is being registered, the Government backs the company by paying half of the registering cost. Besides, a cash bonus of 10000 Yuan is also offered on attaining the title of 'Provincial Famous Brands'.
There are many more steps taken by the Government to ensure the success of trouser industry, here.
Although most of the trouser enterprises focus on local markets, lately they have started to develop exports steadily.
Experts believe that this is a remarkable achievement and that trousers industry of Haicheng is bound to touch new levels in near future.
