Textile and garment exports to key markets

Vietnamese ministry of industry and trade has recently released statistical data related to export turnover of textile and garment items being exported to key markets in July and the first seven months 2008.
According to the data collected exports turnover to Ireland Republic fetched US$ 1.64 million in July and reached US$ 6.41 million from Jan – July 2008.
Figures collected from Argentina are $467,101 in July and $4.59 million between Jan to July 2008. Exports to India in the similar period total to US$ 666,134 and US$ 5.34 million respectively.
During first seven months shipments to Iceland stood at $4.59 million. UK imported $34.70 million worth of Vietnamese textile and apparel products in July and $163.10 million in Jan to July 2008.
