New fabric offerings for shading solutions are stylish & sustainable

Lutron Electronics Co. Inc. is extending the line of residential fabrics for its Sivoia shading solutions with the introduction of 41 new fabrics.
This collection offers a wide variety of designs, colors, and textures to personalize any living space as well as a high tech way to control natural light in style.
Within the new fabric collection, choices range from burnout, textured, dim-out, and blackout fabrics.
- Burnout fabrics have removed pigment from the fabric in order to create a pattern while dispersing light in a unique way.
- Textured fabrics add depth to a space.
- Dim-out fabrics reduce the view to shapes and shadow while blackout fabrics completely eliminate light from entering a space.
The new fabric additions all contain unique sustainable qualities in order to fit the needs of a space. Certain fabrics are free of harmful chemicals, including PVC, halogen, formaldehyde, mercury, halogen, or a combination. These chemicals can off gas the pollutants into the air, which can cause illness and damage to the environment. Other fabrics are made from 100% recycled product.
GREENGUARD and Oeko-Tex are independent organizations that test fabrics for dangerous levels of toxins. If a fabric contains minimal or non-existent levels of contaminants, it is deemed safe for the indoor environment and receives certification.
