The official opening will be held at the Showroom, at the same location. Several partners and participants will be speaking at the launch.

They include Nicole Ménard, parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade, Danielle Bibas, Vice-President of P&G Beauty, Alan Herscovici, President of Liaison Mode Montréal as well as Jean-François Daviau, co-President of Sensation Mode.

Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2008
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Place: Bonsecours Market – Le Showroom
Entrance: 338 Saint-Paul Street East, Montreal (Showroom entrance)

This year, more than 100 exhibitors from Canada, France, the United States and South America will be presented within the framework of the event's Showroom facet.

Also present on the site of the event will be a large number of national and international buyers from Toronto, Japan, the United States (Chicago, Boston, New York), and Europe (France, Great Britain).

Recruiters from the WHO'S NEXT fashion event in Paris, as well as from Japan Fashion Week and Korean Fashion Week will be in Montreal for this event.

Accreditations for Montreal Fashion Week will be handed to media representatives on their first visit. Those who have not yet completed the accreditation form must do so on site. Accreditation is essential for attending the various MFW activities.

To ensure a place at the different fashion shows, registering with the designers' public relations representatives is also recommended.
