Canadian innovation goes to market!

Canadian research and innovation is ensuring we're ready for the challenges of the global market place, and fascinating new models for aligning innovation and market imperatives are constantly evolving.

Expo Hightex is an extremely successful outcome of this trend. Involving industries as diverse as aerospace, health, protection equipment and construction, industry and innovation experts from around the globe are brought to Montréal every year to discuss the latest product research and development to develop business strategies.

Over 1000 business, public sector and research leaders are expected this year by CTT Group, the event's organizer. Focused on composite materials, geosynthetics, woven and non-woven fabrics, CTT Group and Expo Hightex are helping local businesses make the most of the promising international opportunities offered by the exciting innovations in these sectors.

Day 2 has been organized as a part of the 21st Entretiens Jacques-Cartier, emphasizing Expo Hightex's technology transfer role.

Driving a virtuous cycle of business growth and increased investment in research, Expo Hightex 2008 takes place at Bonsecours Market, Downtown Montréal, on 6-7 October. Whether you're in business, research or Government, you should be there.
