Michael Swaine joins Knitting and Stitching Show

Many of you will know that Michael Swaine is joining us at The Knitting and Stitching Show Alexandra Palace (9th - 12th October) this week, all the way from San Francisco! Michael's mission is to investigate British techniques in darning!

Urgent appeal from The Knitting and Stitching Show!
Michael would really appreciate it if you could bring along any socks that either you or your family and friends have darned.

He wants to hear your darning stories! Also, if you have any socks that need darning please bring them along to the Show.

You may have encountered Michael already this week - as he darns his way around London! So far he has been darning in Blackheath, Peckham, Clapham, Brick Lane, Hackney, Notting Hill and Somerset House.

Bring your darning to the Show!
Michael will be located in the Resource Centre at Alexandra Palace.

So make sure you seek him out when you come along. We can't promise that he will have time to darn everything but bring your socks along and you may be lucky!
