Textile & apparel export to Taiwan booms in August

According to Vietnamese General Department of Customs, during the month of August, textile and apparel exports to Taiwan witnessed strong growth in comparison the previous months.
Vietnam fetched US $29.7 million, in the month of August, representing a year–on–year upsurge of 118 percent.
For the first eight months, the export turnover to Taiwan reached $160 million, showcasing a rise by around 59 percent over similar period previous year.
Industry experts are of the opinion that this acceleration in exports to Taiwan would play an important role in expanding country's exporting markets and dependency on some key traditional markets.
