United Feather & Down to highlight natural lifestyle at IH/MRS show

With a focus on an eco-friendly lifestyle, bedding manufacturer United Feather & Down will be highlighting natural products for the luxury hospitality market during the 2008 International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IH/MRS) in New York. From November 8-11, 2008, booth 3546 will be filled with bedding designed to entice and engage the growing numbers of environmentally-conscious travelers.
During the IH/MRS show, considered to be the world's largest showcase and exchange of industry products, trends and developments, United Feather & Down will highlight several eco-friendly hospitality products including its Prestige Naturals Hospitality Collection, a collection of certified organic cotton sateen bedding.
With increasing numbers of consumers today “going green,” hotels looking to cater to those seeking organic options can turn to United Feather & Down's Prestige Naturals Hospitality Collection, featuring bed pillows, a comforter, blanket and mattress pad, each made with 300-thread-count certified organic cotton sateen and filled with a choice of 600-fill-power Freshness Assured down or the company's patented Lyocell Down.
Additionally, United Feather & Down will be showcasing its 100% Recycled Fiber Fill collection, featuring a combination of beauty, comfort and sustainability unlike any other recycled fill. The company's three varieties of recycled fills are made from 100% recycled polyester staple (PET) fiber, the end result of recycling, melting and extruding post-consumer plastic – e.g. plastic water bottles – and are completely machine washable.
