Marina Crnoja-Cosic presented a new range of applications for TENCEL at the Man-Made Fiber Conference in Dornbirn. TENCEL and polyamide fibers are ideal blending partners for fabrics that are meant to have a high tenacity and resistance to abrasion.
Another advantage of this fiber blend is the perfect wear comfort, which tends to be forgotten in professional clothing. A low share of nylon is necessary to improve the resistance to abrasion and a high share of TENCEL is responsible for the softness and feel-good factor in professional clothing and uniforms for the armed forces.
