Asian propylene spot prices slump

The impact of global financial crisis is quite evident on the crude as well as propylene market. Prices for the both have slipped considerably in the recent times.
Most of the importing regions, Far East, and Europe showed a down trend where as the US showed stability on November 5, in comparison to the previous week.
Propylene prices in Far East region:
Propylene, FOB South Korea, at US $300-310 per ton.
Propylene prices in European region:
Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 870-880 per metric ton.
Propylene (polymerization level), CIF Northwest Europe, at Euro 860-870 per metric ton.
Price in the United States:
Propylene (refining level), FAS Houston, at US cent 21.000-21.250 per lb.
