Cationic filament market stabilizes

In the week that ended November 9, cationic filament producers enlarged their sales volume, leading to hike in prices. In the first half of the week, the overall price of cationic filament gained 200 - 400 yuan per ton, but stabilized around November 6.
The varieties FDY 50D/24F, 63D/24F, 75D/36F, DTY 150D and 200D marked better sales than others.
CDP chip quotation from some large manufacturers during November 2-8 was around 7300 yuan per ton, down 300 yuan per ton from the previous week.
As polyester filament price starts to move down, it will affect cation market. Currently overall polyester filament market is weak, so spot price of domestic CDP slice is also slipping. Therefore cationic filament market is expected show a downward trend.
