Workers agitate against non-payment of salary

Non payment of salary for more than three months has led to a strike at Dai Cat Tuong Garment Company. Workers dropped their tools in a bid to ask the authorities to pay their due salary.
Dai Cat Tuong Garment Company located in Quang Ngai Province, is currently facing difficulties in selling their products, leading to sharp reduction in revenue and production, according to official of the Company.
After interference from local Government, the Company's managers on November 15, agreed to pay in advance VND 400,000 per worker and promised to reimburse all salary soon.
