Exports to Ireland brings rosy results

A recently released report from General Department of Customs showed that in the month of August of on going year, Vietnam earned around US $4.73 million from exports to Ireland. Key products shipped to that market include footwear, textile and garment, wood and wooden products and bags.
In August only, the export value of textile and garment products fetched around US $1.48 million, the highest to this market and the export volume accounted for 31.41 percent of the total export.
During the first 8 months, Vietnam earned near about $37.321 million from exporting various products to Ireland. The export value of textile and garment products stood second with $7.90 million, making up 21.18 percent of the total export value.
Articles made of wood were also sold hugely in this market and acquired third position with $14.916 million.
