Wool yarn market acquires stability

Last week, During the period from November 18 to 24, the sharp drop in temperature has increased the trading volumes of sweater at the Puyuan market. While wool yarn market acquired stability, overall price trend little changed. Prices of 210D/36F nylon-6FDY, man-made high-elasticity yarn declined.

Going by the trend, Australian acrylic yarn was still in a fair state, anti-pilling yarns were especially popular.

Fine wool spinning yarns produced in China slightly enlarged its trade volume; however price remained unchanged, of which 24s was quoted at 47,200 yuan per ton.

Demand of rabbit hair yarn from down stream manufacturers moved on the higher side, of which, 16s raised 100 yuan per ton.

Loop yarn recently saw brisk demand and price movement. Colored polyester yarn weakened by 100 yuan per ton in the week.

Acrylic yarn market indicated no improvement in general; individual species showed slight drop. Imitation cashmere and rabbit hair observed good demand in the week; market quotations were steady for the time being.

It is reported that recent market demand for cotton-cashmere yarn 48Nm / 2 is better.

Trade volume of wool yarn market is expected to maintain the current level next week, but the possibility of an upward movement in price will minimise.
