As prices for ethylene continued to plunge, anxiety engulfs the market. Experts show their genuine concern as condition worsens with the prices falling further on November 26. Prices for most importing regions like Asia, Europe and the US went down where as stability prevailed in the Far East region as compared to prior week.
Market insiders are of the opinion that this slow-down in ethylene prices is the result of plummeting crude oil prices.

Ethylene, FOB Japan, at US $355 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices in Europe:
Ethylene, FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 505-510 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CIF Northwest Europe, at US $500-510 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices in United States:
Ethylene, FAS Houston, at US cent 17.000-17.250 per pound.
