Cotton prices at KCA remain firm

The spot rate at KCA climbed a step ahead on Saturday and the settlement price was declared at Rs2900, showcasing a hike of Rs75 per maund.
In the local market, 1000 bales of Jampur and Ahmedpur changed hands at Rs3000; 800 bales of Liaquatpur at Rs3000; 400 bales traded in bahawalpur at Rs3000; 1200 bales of Haroonabad at Rs2850; 4000 bales of Rahim yaar khan at Rs3000; and 1800 bales of Sadiqabad sold with in the range of Rs2900 to Rs3000.
