On Monday, the first day of December, PTA, MEG prices moved higher amid consolidation. Semi-dull and bright polyester chip prices were temporarily stable. Prices of CDP slice, PET bottle slice remained flat.
Acrylic staple fiber 1.5D × 38mm, acrylic top 3D × 102mm prices consolidated. CPL, nylon 6 chip prices remained unchanged.
Polyester filament market sank in lukewarm state and acquired a wait-and-see attitude; trade volume stayed at middle-lower level; no major transactions happened.
Although polyester filament offers from a big spinning factory were mixed, quotations at polyester filament market remained stable. Actual volume of small transactions was mainly discussed between buyers and sellers. While analyzing the purchasing power of the down stream manufacturers, it is observed that vast majority of weaving factories and texturizing factories still followed the strategy of 'purchase material according to production'.
Polyester filament market is expected to remain in consolidation pattern for a short term. However, it does not rule out the possibility that some spinning manufacturers will provide concessionary price to promote shipment on fund pressures.
All-cotton yarn products remained in a smooth consolidation, from the sale of varieties, demand of all-cotton yarn 32s was better, but other specifications looked dull.
Prices of polyester-cotton blended yarn products were stable with little changes, trade volume was small.
Prices of individual viscose yarn specifications fell. Rayon yarn market weakened, some rayon yarn prices declined, trade volume was small.
Polyester yarn market fell; price trend was temporarily stabile; market price of polyester staple fiber consolidated; currently its average price is at 6950 yuan per ton.
Price gravity of viscose staple fiber lowered again, up-to-date market price is focused at 12,500 yuan per ton.
Man-made fiber yarn market is expected to acquire a downward trend.
