Seminar conducted on 'Advances in Textile Processing'

4.Mr. H. M. Sharma, Sr. Technologist (Engg.), Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA) emphasized on 'Efficiency in Steam Generation & Consumption in Process House'.
5.Mr. Harish Mehta, Director, Menzel Engg. India Pvt. Ltd. talked about 'Developments in Continuous Processing Machineries'.

The attraction of the Seminar was 'Panel Discussion' moderated by Dr. G. S. Nadiger, Director (Laboratories), Textile Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India alongwith Mr. Prabhod Patel & Mr. Mahesh Sharma the experts in processing sectors. The panel was also represented by all the speakers who presented their papers in this seminar.

Dr. Nadiger while initiating discussion gave brief summary of various presentations made during the seminar. Different silent features were discussed like Modern Finishing, Continuous processing of cotton & its blends, Processing of wool, etc. There was good interactions between participants who pose a number of relevant questions to panel members and these were answered by the panel members to the fullest satisfaction of the delegates.

The seminar was ably compared by Mr. Harish B. Parekh, Jt. Hon. Gen Secretary, TAI & ended with vote of thanks by Mr. A. V. Mantri, Hon. Secretary, TAI, Mumbai Unit. The seminar was a grand success because of the efforts of Mr. R. G. Malvakar, Vice Chairman, TAI, Mumbai Unit, Mr. Uday Kulkarni, Jt. Convener of the seminar and Mr. Rajiv Mohile from M/s.
