Couromoda to surprise the market with 3 thousand brands

The 36th edition of COUROMODA – International Shoes, Sportsgoods and Leathergoods Fair will be held from January 12th to 15th, at the Anhembi Exhibition Center, in São Paulo, Brazil, introducing the new fashion collections of 1,200 manufacturers of all types of footwear, tennis shoes, sneakers, bags, travel/luggage-ware, sportsgoods, garments and fashion accessories.
Opening the business season for footwear, fashion accessories and garments sector, Couromoda, the most important trade fair in Latin America, will be spread over a 80 thousand square meter exhibition area, and is to draw the attention of retailers and distributors of Brazil as well as that of importers from more than 70 countries.
Couromoda, the biggest showcase of the Brazilian footwear industry, introduces novelties of over 3 thousand brands, with goods that will supply stores as of next month of March. The collections launched at the fair feature not only fall/winter options but also high summer choices to meet the needs of the retail market from all over Brazil and of the international buyers.
In order to offer always the best fair for business, networking, fashion information and updating, Couromoda seeks renovation and enhancement at every new edition. Therefore, the 36th edition of the fair will feature many innovations.
“Today, we have a more mature and modern market with new consumption habits and new rules. And it is within this context that we are getting ready for Couromoda 2009 and once again we shall surprise the market with actions that will motivate the exhibitors to enhance their presentations and enthuse the retailers to program safely their purchases”, emphasizes Francisco Santos.
