Textile & apparel earns high revenue for Quang Nam Province

According to estimation of Quang Nam Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the total export value of Quang Nam Province in 2008 is expected to reach US $242.6 million, equal to 110.27 percent of the planned target, up 34.09 percent year-on-year.
Textile and garment products earned foreign exchange worth over $10 million by exporting to various destinations.
Footwear topped the list with $70 million, representing 28.85 percent of the province's total export value. Textile and garment products stood second with $51 million, making up around 21 percent of Quang Nam's total export value.
China, European Union, Japan, Korea and other ASEAN countries emerged as the key export market for Quang Nam made products.
