Opelontex develops polyurethane elastic fiber for swimwear

Opelontex Co of Japan has developed world's first cationic dye-dyeable polyurethane elastic fiber LYCRA(R) fiber T909B for the manufacturing of swim wear.
This product with high durability against swim pool chlorine has features like excellent stretchability.
Official sources from the Company informed Fibre2fashion.com, “Opelontex Co is a joint venture company between TORAY and INVISTA. We are operating LYCRA(R) fiber business in Japan under a license from INVISTA.”
The new swimwear will be promoted as 'Waterside Wear' that fulfills both functionality and fashion needs.
