Sport shoes to have wide range of textile applications

Textiles play a very vital role in manufacturing and functioning of sports shoes. A shoe can contain wide range of textile material such as nylon, rubber, membrane, latex and neoprene for its coatings and finishes.

It also needs variety of fabrics for cushion and support to make shoes waterproof, breathable and durable. A lot of new product innovations have taken place in the matter of textiles for use in manufacturing of shoes.

KELVER is one of the most important man-made fabrics of its kind to be ever developed. Due to the exclusive combination of various properties, KELVER will be used in large number of footwear applications in near future.

In coming years the athletic shoe sizing will enjoy definite standards all around the world and for attaining better support and stability in the sport shoes, designers will be looking for light weight materials and will further use gels and air systems.

NIKE, the iconic and renowned shoe brand has come out with a shoes recycling and sustainability program. Other big brands are also expected to take up the cause taken up by Nike.
