Shandong Jide develops bamboo fibre fabrics

Recently Shandong Jide Ecology Science & Technology Co Ltd. has successfully innovated, developed and manufactured 100 percent bamboo fiber fabrics and realized mass production of the fabric.
Natural bamboo fibre is a new type of regenerated cellulose fibre using bamboo as raw materials. Due to the porous mesh structure, the moisture absorption and breathing function is superior to other viscose fibers along with dyeing performance.
However, the strength of natural bamboo fibre is relatively weak, resulting in low strength of spinning yarn, which creates difficulties while weaving.
Jide Company has conducted a number of research experiments and achieved success in regard of process parameters, such as spinning humidity, spinning speed, twist and weaving slurry formulation, spinning speed.
The 100 percent bamboo fibre fabrics are high-grade textiles, soft with moisture permeability, anti-microbial and antibacterial properties.
