'Hongcheng Hometex' delivers exemplary performance in Q1

Since the beginning of this year, Hongcheng Home Textile Co., Ltd. in Shandong has restructured its product offerings by vigorously developing high-tech and value-added products, due to which it has recorded a growth in exports in the first quarter.
The company has been able to achieve this in light the slowdown in export orders from overseas markets, by enhancing its ability to meet demands from international markets and thereby maintain a booming production line in an adverse market.
It is learnt that in the first three months of this year, the company achieved an export value of US $4,852,200, up 30.57 percent compared with the same time last year and its order books are full with orders till the end of May, this year.
In the first three months of 2009, the company developed more than 260 new products and has also increased its productivity. It has diversified in to high count yarns, wider width fabrics and multi colour new blends fabrics among many.
In addition, the company is keeping a close watch on developing trends in global markets and tuning its production towards that trend to take the first mover advantage. Along with the above it has also invested in new technology and equipment.
