Same-store sales up at Jo-Ann Stores

Jo-Ann Stores Inc reported that net sales for the first quarter ended May 2, 2009, were $460.0 million compared to $446.1 million in the prior year. Same-store sales for the first quarter increased 1.0% versus a same-store sales increase of 4.5% last year.
