To survive the crisis, companies are attempting for strategies like expanding their technologies, cost cutting, brand building, and innovation in marketing methods etc. A

s the focus is shifted from the traditional craft base to production oriented industry, achieving greater productivity becomes the main focus.

More productivity and market forces start placing more emphasis on quality and frequently the industry met this demand.

With the span of time, competition grew and the industry evolved to become more market driven today and even that is not sufficient for a sustainable growth.
