Leading companies to reveal latest bridal trends at BBW

The leading companies in quality, design and exportation power in the bridal fashion sector once again make a firm stance for a Show which, from 12th to 14th of June, will see its 30,000 m2 fully occupied for yet another year with 200 top-quality brands, 40% of which are foreign.

The show, which represents 98% of the national sector and opens the international calendar, envisages the presence of more than 13,000 visitors, 60% of whom come from abroad.

In all, 31 prestigious companies with the great names in bridal creation at the head of them will reveal the latest trends at the show which has become a point of reference: the PASARELA GAUDÍ NOVIAS (9th to 12th of June).

Most of the leading companies in the bridal sector have, yet again, taken a firm stance for BARCELONA BRIDAL WEEK, the only show which, for the last 19 years, has brought together the quality and creativity that make the Spanish bridal industry a point of reference at a worldwide level in addition to offering exhibiting companies as well as visitors the necessary tools for advancing together in the same direction.

This Barcelona show it resisting the pulse of the current market situation with energy thanks to the loyalty of the exhibitors, visitors and professionals from the specialist media (it is envisaged that there will be more than 400 from all over the world) who each year attend BARCELONA BRIDAL WEEK and its two main events: the PASARELA GAUDÍ NOVIAS (9th-12th of June 2009) and the Salón Internacional NOVIAESPAÑA (12th-154th of June 2009).

More than 200 top-quality brand names are evidence that the leadership of our companies and their great exporting potential find their best stage at BARCELONA BRIDAL WEEK, the platform that represents 98% of the national sector and that opens and leads the international calendar.

Once more, NOVIAESPAÑA has managed to achieve full occupation of the 30,000 m2 of the avant-garde Pavilion 8 of the Gran Vía Venue of Fira Barcelona. Foreign participation, at 40%,continues to be notable. Companies from Germany, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Holland, England, Italy, Lebanon, Portugal and Brazil confirm the importance of the Show as an intense, dynamic business centre and commercial contacts for professionals from all over the world.

From a qualitative point of view, this reference Show will be a special place in which purchasers from all over the world can get to see, first hand, the new trends in fabrics, colours and fashion lines for brides, grooms, ceremonies, parties, cocktails, communions and accessories. It is an encounter with quality and differentiated products that are enriched each year with high-level proposals, such as that of JOSEP FONT, who with MODEL NOVIAS, will offer visitors the acclaimed collections of a designer who, for several seasons, has been showing his creations at the Haute Couture in Paris.

The trade fair will once again count on the active presence of relevant purchasing centres and retailers from all over the world, in the setting of the programmes of international promotion we have been developing over the last 19 years. At present, visitors from abroad account for 60% of all the professionals. Italy continues to lead the ranking of visiting countries, followed by France, Germany, Switzerland, the United States, Portugal, Japan, the United Kingdom, Holland, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Lebanon. The increase of professionals from Russia is particularly significant, placing them in third place in the order of countries that attend the event.
