CoE is (Centre of Excellence) is the creation of assets for an organization and gaining maximum business benefits from the usage of such assets.

The objective of creating CoE for any organization is customer centric and is meant for providing exclusive solutions to their customers.

IT organizations are now a days adopting CoE as a practical way of consistent and continuous improvement of their business operations.

The model proves as a main point of contact used for collaboration between the lines of business enterprises, architects, administrators, and application developers.

Industry analysts also support the move to the CoE model. The system is used to launch and sustain business needs. In the absence of the system, the business will lack necessary ecosystem, funding, governance structure, and optimization of resources.

An ideal CoE should be in synchronization with philosophy of the organization business imperative.
