Whites of London offers over the top opulence in home furnishings

We concluded the interview by asking him to reveal to our readers the look of the season, to which he said, “Think luxury and indulgence to complete the look this season and by experimenting with a mix of colours you can create a strong-masculine or light- feminine look. From crisp whites to a contemporary style or from an exotic touch to nature's influence, give your room a new look each day. Among the shades prevalent in the season are;
Crisp whites:
White is traditionally a cool, summer colour. You can go for an all-white colour scheme and use plenty of textured rugs, cushions and throws to create depth. But, if you just want to freshen up your bed without forking out for the rest of the room, using all-white sheets, quilt cover and cushions will create a fresh new look.
Contemporary style:
Stark minimalism has definitely undergone a softening of the edges – especially in the bedroom. The main principle of clean lines and reduced clutter remains but you can now add a little warmth to your bed linen. Start with a neutral base (your sheets and quilt cover) and then introduce interest with accessories - a throw and a few textured cushions work perfectly.
Touch of the exotic:
Asian influence is obvious everywhere, including the bedroom. You might like to have an entirely Asian-themed room from the bed, to the sheets. Small floral print of the quilt cover and cushions is typical of Asian styling too. These muted tones can be brought to life with splashes of bright white or red accents.
Nature's influence:
Our concern with the environment has infiltrated bed linen in general. We're seeing leaf prints in olive-green and earthy toned duvet covers and cushions all contributing to a look that's back to nature.
