Oerlikon Textile Components is pleased to announce the market introduction of Accotex Belts and Splice Equipment. Two general types of Accotex Belts are available - Drive and Conveyer Belts. Drive Belts are the connection between the power source and the driven item while Conveyor or Processing Belts enable the smooth flow of material.

The belt quality has a strong influence on your production output. Any losses caused by damaged belts have to be eliminated. Minimizations of machine downtimes equivalent to efficiency improvement are the keys to your success.

Quality Characteristics
The three relevant criteria's for premium belts are:
- Tension behavior or the choice of right tension member
- Surface behavior or the choice of the right elastomer
- Assembly behavior or know how and longtime experience in splicing technology

All Accotex Belts combine four warranted characteristics for your successful premium yarn production at optimized costs.

Longest Lifetime
The assuring facts of the wear resistant construction are the robust belt edges, oil and grease resistant surfaces as well as moist and temperature insensitivity. Due to this features perfect flexibility for each application and longest possible product lifetime will be achieved.

Constant Yarn Quality
The stable belt friction coefficient at constant spindle speed ensures the exact speed for the output of high class quality yarn. The high dimensional stability of the belt is a result of the sandwich construction. Antistatic belt properties ensure that there is low fluff accumulation.
Highest Efficiency
As a consequence of the adapted coating of the friction layer and the high dimensional belt stability the transmission slippage is minimized. The amount of work and therefore labor cost will be decreased by the easy setting up of the uncomplex splice technology. Further savings are enabled due to the fact that re-tensioning becomes even for long machines unnecessary.

Respect to Resources
Low energy consumption is ensured by the shock and vibration absorbing construction.
The fine belt texture enables a significant reduction of the noise level.

Splicing Types
Oerlikon Textile Components is suggesting two different types of splicing. We differentiate between a W -splice with the typical ground wedge splice with adhesives and a Z-splice with the specific tooth splice without adhesives.
