The International Business and Exhibitions Center of Bogotá (Corferias) has host the 3rd Salón Textil Corferias Trends 2009/2010, a specialized and high-level meeting point that brings together the textiles and clothing sectors in Colombia. In its third edition, Salón Textil continues to position itself as the best business platform for the sector in Colombia. To this end, it has make available an exhibit space of 5,000 m2 within the Corferias fairgrounds, where over 180 exhibitors are expected to present their most noteworthy offerings to 16 thousand visitors and 120 international buyers from the Andean Region, Central America, the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

In order to consolidate itself as the best business platform for the industry in Colombia, the 3rd Salón Textil will feature a broad commercial display distributed in three pavilions full of innovation and technology that will set the trend for the collections to be developed in the second semester of the year:
• Pavilion 3 – TEXTILES: It exhibit the latest trends in textiles for indoor and outdoor use, specialty items and decorative cloths for a wide variety of textile and clothing uses.
• Pavilion 6 – TEXTILES AND SUPPLIES: Products that meet all your requirements in terms of apparel manufacturing, finishes and decoration.
• Pavilion 8 – MACHINERY: All types of cutting-edge machinery and technology for the textile and clothing industry. A perfect complement for the 2009 Salón Textil will be the academic program to update your knowledge on the latest development in terms of design, manufacturing and new markets.
