Denim by Première Vision confirms dynamism of jeanswear

Refinement gains ground on structures and colours with subtle smoky, purplish, mauve or brownish effects, or very intense black and blue/black. Noble blends (with wool or silk) are also growing, revealing protective qualities a well as a sensual appeal.

An ecological exigency is felt: the use of organic cotton and recycled materials are accompanied by developments in dyeing and laundering that are eco-friendly. Yet these developments do not preclude fantasy, which can be found in the precise yarn irregularities, in engineered launderings, in the positioning of accessories on plain or jacquard, stretch or two-way stretch grounds, with all tastes heralding a very denim season.

Continuing the autumn winter 2010-11 collections, the next meeting will be at Première Vision (15-18 September 2009), a salon that continues to propose a broad offer of denim fabric. This is an opportunity for jeans' makers to discover the season's latest news, and for brands that develop jeans lines at later dates to construct their new collections.

As for spring summer 2011 denim developments, they will be unveiled during the 5th edition of Denim by Première Vision, which will be held on next 2nd and 3rd December 2009, once again at Paris/Les Docks.
