Sales of island filament continues to be brisk

In the just concluded week (June 15-21), sales of island filament in Shengze market continued to be brisk. From amongst various deniers, market sales of DTY105D were brisk as it is used as material interwoven with polyester DTY in production of suede fabric by water-jet loom.
In addition, it is also used as the main material for cotton suede fabric and double-weft suede fabric. Sales of suede fabric and double-weft suede fabric were very good in Shengze market for the reported week which gave boost to sales of island filament DTY105D.
Market price stood at about 18000-18800 Yuan per ton, remaining unchanged compared with the previous week. In addition, sales situation of DTY215-225D and 180D was also very good, since demand for fabrics produced from island FDY filament from lower reaches has recovered recently.
